This course is primarily an online program with about eight (8) lab sessions and one (1) orientation night (11/16/19 date). Students complete the online lectures and review activities at their pace. Students will meet with the instructor on the designated lab date sessions and demonstrate skills proficiency. Once all online work and skills have been completed, the student will complete the final testing process and successful students will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EMT’s computer adaptive test and State of NH EMT practical exam. Students must also participate in ambulance clinical ride time. HPSO student insurance is required. That may be obtained once registered for the program.
This course offers a significant amount of practice for both the NREMT computer adaptive test and State of NH Practical exam. Students will feel prepared to complete those testing processes and will then be ready to move forward into an exciting career of pre-hospital emergency medical care. Students MUST have a reliable computer and internet access as well as the ability to film themselves performing skills. Students will also be asked to create their own personal YOU TUBE account in order to upload skills videos that they took at home. Those skills videos are graded by the instructor. If you are looking for a flexible and accommodating schedule in order to obtain your EMT, this program is for you.
